We also favored Moses and Aaron 114 And We saved them and their people from the great affliction, 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and guided them in the straight path, 118 and preserved for them a good name among posterity. 119 Peace be unto Moses and Aaron! 120 Verily, thus do We reward the Muhsinun (good-doers - see V. 2:112). 121 For they were two of our believing Servants. 122 And verily, llyas was one of the sent ones. 123 When he said to his people: Do you not guard (against evil)? 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denied him [Iliyas (Elias)], so they will certainly be brought forth (to the punishment), 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good: 131 Verily he was one of Our bondmen believing. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 (Call to mind) when We delivered him and all his kinsfolk, 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 then We destroyed the others, 136 And surely ye pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
