Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When the heaven becomes cleft asunder, 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 when the seas swarm over, 3 And the sepulchres are overturned, 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O man! What has deceived you about your generous Lord 6 who created you, fashioned you and proportioned you, 7 In whatsoever form He listed He constructed thee. 8 No indeed; (the fact is that) you deny the Reckoning, declaring it a lie; 9 Yet over you there are watchers, 10 noble scribes, 11 They know all that you do. 12 As for the Righteous, they will be in bliss; 13 And verily the ungodly shall be in a Scorch. 14 roasting in it on the Day of Recompense 15 and which they shall not [be able to] evade. 16 What could let you know what the Day of Recompense is! 17 Again would that you only knew how terrible it really is! 18 (It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19
