The Poets (Alshu'araa')
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Ta-Sin-Mim. [These letters are one of the miracles of the Quran, and none but Allah (Alone) knows their meanings.] 1 Those are the signs of the Manifest Book. 2 Wouldst thou, perhaps, torment thyself to death [with grief] because they [who live around thee] refuse to believe [in it]? 3 If We list, We can send down unto them a sign from the heaven so that their necks would become to it submissive. 4 And no revelation comes to them anew from the Most Merciful except that they turn away from it. 5 thus, indeed, have they given the lie (to this message as well). But [in time] they will come to understand what it was that they were wont to deride! 6 Have they not seen the earth, how much of every fruitful kind We make to grow therein? 7 Surely, in this there is a sign yet most of them do not believe. 8 And indeed your Lord – indeed only He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 9
