Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the winds sent forth with beneficence. 1 Then by oath of those that push with a strong gust. 2 And scatter (things) far and wide; 3 And the scattering winds scattering. 4 And those winds that bring down the remembrance. 5 To excuse or to warn, 6 that whatever with which you have been warned will inevitably come to pass. 7 Then when the stars become dim; 8 and when the sky is rent asunder 9 and the mountains scattered, 10 And when the messengers' time has come... 11 For what Day are these (portents) deferred? 12 To the day of decision. 13 And what will convey unto thee what the Day of Decision is! - 14 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 15 Did We not destroy the ancient people 16 Then We will follow them with the later ones. 17 So We serve the sinners. 18 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 19 Did We not create you from contemptible water? 20 Then We lodged you in a secure place (the womb) 21 Till a limit known? 22 So We decreed. How excellent are We as decreers! 23 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle. 25 for the living and the dead, 26 Set We not therein soaring mountains? Sated you with sweetest water? 27 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 28 GO ON towards that [resurrection] which you were wont to call a lie! 29 Proceed to a shadow rising in three columns: 30 unshading against the blazing flame 31 Verily! It (Hell) throws sparks (huge) as Al-Qasr [a fort or a Qasr (huge log of wood)], 32 and yellow camels. 33 Woe that day unto those who cry it lies! 34 This is the Day they shall not speak, 35 nor shall they be permitted to offer excuses. 36 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 37 That is the Day of Judgement on which We have assembled you as well as all those who went before you. 38 If you now have any conspiracy, carry it out on Me. 39 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 40
