And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 and We saved them with their nation from a great distress. 115 We helped them and they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the clear Scripture; 117 And We guided them to the Straight Way. 118 and We left them thus to be succeeded by a group [of followers] among later generations: 119 'Peace be upon Moses and, Aaron!' 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 Elias was certainly a Messenger. 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call upon Ba'l and leave the best of creators - 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 But they gave him the lie: and therefore they will most surely be arraigned [on Judgment Day,] 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 He is indeed one of Our high ranking, firmly believing bondmen. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 When We saved him and his family, all, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And most surely you pass by them in the morning, 137 and in the night; will you not understand? 138

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
