What, are you harder to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 He hath raised the height thereof and perfected it. 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 And afterwards spread out the earth. 30 He brought out its water and its pastures from it, 31 And He made fast the hills, 32 [all this] as a means of livelihood for you and your animals. 33 Therefore, when there comes the great, overwhelming (Event),- 34 on that Day man will [clearly] remember all that he has ever wrought; 35 And hell will stand forth visible to him who seeth, 36 So for one who rebelled, 37 And preferred the worldly life, 38 that blazing fire will truly be the goal! 39 But as for him who feared standing before his Lord, and restrained himself from impure evil desires, and lusts. 40 Their abode will be the Garden. 41 They ask thee of the Hour: when will it come to port? 42 [But] how couldst thou tell anything about it, 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 You are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the Day when they see it, they will feel as if they had tarried in this world for only one evening or one morning. 46
