The All Compassionate (Al-Rahman)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ AR-RAHMAN 1 who taught the Quran -- 2 He created man, 3 He hath taught him utterance. 4 [At His behest] the sun and the moon run their appointed courses; 5 And the herbs (or stars) and the trees both prostrate. 6 He raised the heaven on high and set the scale. 7 So that none may err against the scales, 8 So establish weight with justice and fall not short in the balance. 9 He spread out the earth for the people. 10 In which are fruits, and covered dates. 11 And the grain with (its) husk and fragrance. 12 (Jinn and mankind) - which of the favors of your Lord do you deny? 13 He created man from clay like that of earthenware. 14 and He created the jinns from a flame of fire. 15 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 16 The Lord of the Two Easts, the Lord of the Two Wests. 17 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 18 He has let free the two bodies of flowing water, meeting together: 19 Between them is a barrier [so] neither of them transgresses. 20 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 21 Out of them come Pearls and Coral: 22 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 23 And His are the Ships sailing smoothly through the seas, lofty as mountains: 24 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 25
