Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? 83 (Muhammad), exercise patience; We have given them respite only for an appointed time. 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 And We shall drive the sinners to Hell, like thirsty cattle driven down to water,- 86 None will have [power of] intercession except he who had taken from the Most Merciful a covenant. 87 They say, "The Gracious One has begotten a son." 88 Indeed you have brought forth (said) a terrible evil thing. 89 the heavens might well-nigh burst thereat, and the earth break asunder, and the mountains fall down in pieces, 90 For they have attributed a son to Ar-Rahman, 91 And it behoveth not the Compassionate that he should take a son. 92 All that is in the heavens and the earth will return to the Beneficent God as His submissive servants. 93 He knows their number and has counted each one of them. 94 and each one shall come to Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Verily, those who believe [in the Oneness of Allah and in His Messenger (Muhammad SAW)] and work deeds of righteousness, the Most Beneficent (Allah) will bestow love for them (in the hearts of the believers). 96 Now We have made it easy by thy tongue that thou mayest bear good tidings thereby to the godfearing, and warn a people stubborn. 97 for, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [and] canst thou perceive any one of them [now,] or hear any whisper of them? 98
