The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
By those who set the ranks in battle order 1 Then those who drive away with reproof, 2 By the angels reciting the praise. 3 Indeed your God is surely only One. 4 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, and Lord of the easts. 5 Surely We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment, the stars, 6 and have made them secure against every rebellious, satanic force, 7 They cannot listen to the exalted assembly and they are thrown at from every side, 8 To make them flee, and for them is a never-ending punishment. 9 Save him who snatcheth a fragment, and there pursueth him a piercing flame. 10 So ask them (that is, human beings): “Were they harder to create than the objects We created?” We created them from sticky clay. 11 No wonder you are surprised as they laugh with scorn. 12 When they are reminded, they do not remember. 13 And, when they see a Sign, turn it to mockery, 14 and they say, 'This is nothing but manifest sorcery. 15 Why - after we have died and become mere dust and bones, shall we, forsooth, be raised from the dead? 16 And so also shall our forefathers of yore be raised to life?” 17 Say, "Yes, and you will be [rendered] contemptible." 18 It shall be but one shout, lo! they shall be staring. 19 and will say: "Oh, woe unto us! This is the Day of Judgment!" 20 [It will be said], "This is the Day of Judgement which you have been denying." 21
