Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? 27 by raising its vault high and fashioning it flawlessly, 28 And He made dark its night, and brought forth its sunshine. 29 And the earth, He expanded it after that. 30 He brought out its water and its pastures from it, 31 and has made the mountains firm: 32 an enjoyment for you and your flocks. 33 On the day when the great calamity comes, 34 The day on which man shall recollect what he strove after, 35 and the blazing fire [of hell] will be laid open before all who [are destined to] see it. 36 Then, as for him who rebelled 37 and preferred the worldly life, 38 surely, Hell will be their refuge. 39 And for such as had entertained the fear of standing before their Lord's (tribunal) and had restrained (their) soul from lower desires, 40 Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge. 41 They ask you about the Hour: “When will it be?” 42 What art thou about, to mention it? 43 Its final end is for your Lord. 44 You are only a warner for those who fear such a day. 45 On the day that they see it, it will be as though they had not tarried but the latter part of a day or the early part of it. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
