Hizb 46
< random >
And lo! Jonah verily was of those sent (to warn) 139 He ran away to the laden ship, 140 So he shared (with them), but was of those who are cast off. 141 So the whale swallowed him, for he was blameworthy, 142 But had it not been that he was of those who glorify (Us), 143 He would have tarried in the belly thereof till the Day when they are raised. 144 ۞ but We cast him upon the wilderness, and he was sick, 145 And We caused a plant of gourd to grow over him. 146 And We had sent him to a hundred thousand: rather they exceeded. 147 And they came to believe; so We allowed them to enjoy the good things of life for an age. 148 Therefore ask them (O dear Prophet Mohammed peace and blessings be upon him), whether the daughters are for your Lord and the sons for them! 149 Did We create the angels females, to which they were witnesses? 150 It is only because of their false invention that they say, 151 "Allah has begotten children"? but they are liars! 152 Has He chosen daughters over sons? 153 What is the matter with you? How do you judge? 154 “So do you not ponder?” 155 Or, do you have a clear authority? 156 Then bring your book, if you are truthful. 157 And they have invented a kinship between Him and the jinns, but the jinns know well that they have indeed to appear (before Him) (i.e. they will be brought for accounts). 158 Exaltations to Allah above what they describe, 159 Not thus, however, [behave] God's true servants: 160 Wherefore verily neither ye nor that which ye worship, 161 Not against Him can you cause (any) to fall into trial, 162 Save him who will go to hell. 163 There is not one of us (angels) but has his known place (or position); 164 And verily we! we are ranged in ranks. 165 And we are most surely they who declare the glory (of Allah). 166 What, would they then say: 167 'If only we had had a Reminder from the ancients, 168 “We would certainly be the chosen bondmen of Allah.” 169 But they disbelieved in it; soon they shall know! 170 And Our word has already preceded for Our servants, the messengers, 171 That they verily would be helped, 172 and Our armies shall be the victors. 173 So you ignore them for a time 174 And see [what will befall] them, for they are going to see. 175 Do they wish (indeed) to hurry on our Punishment? 176 Then, when it descends into their courtyard (i.e. near to them), evil will be the morning for those who had been warned! 177 And turn away from them till a time 178 And see thou: they themselves shall presently see. 179 Exalted be your Lord, the Lord of Glory, above what they attribute to Him, 180 And peace is upon the Noble Messengers. 181 And all praise is due to God alone, the Sustainer of all the worlds! 182
God the Almighty always says the truth.

Notes and Instructions
ColorfulQuran.com displays pages in one of three Arabic fonts. Each may appear with a one-third chance, adding more diversity to the already diverse colors. And the words remain unchanged forever. ColorfulQuran.com will have more beautiful fonts soon, God willing.
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
