THUS, INDEED, did We bestow Our favour upon Moses and Aaron; 114 And We saved them and their people from the great distress; 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We gave them the Book which helps to make things clear; 117 and guided them the straight way, 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be on Moses and Aaron. 120 This is how We reward the virtuous. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And indeed Ilyas is one of the Noble Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, “Do you not fear?” 124 Would you call on Baal and leave the best of creators, 125 God your Lord and Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they called him a liar, therefore they shall most surely be brought up. 127 Except the chosen bondmen of Allah. 128 and We left for him among the later folk 129 'Peace be upon Elias!' 130 This is how We reward the virtuous. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And Lot too was one of the Messengers. 133 When We rescued him and his entire household. 134 except for an old woman who stayed behind, 135 Then We destroyed the rest. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and at night.
