Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 When the Oceans are suffered to burst forth; 3 and when the graves are laid open: 4 then a soul shall know its works, the former and the latter. 5 O man! What has made you careless concerning your Lord, the Most Generous? 6 Who created you proportionately and fashioned you 7 Shaping you into any form He pleased? 8 No indeed; but you cry lies to the Doom; 9 Lo! there are above you guardians, 10 noble, recording, 11 They know all that you do. 12 Surely the pious shall be in bliss, 13 And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. 14 They will [enter to] burn therein on the Day of Recompense, 15 And will not be able to hide from it. 16 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 17 How then can you comprehend what the Day of Judgement is? 18 (It will be) the Day when no person shall have power (to do) anything for another, and the Decision, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah. 19

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
