The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
۞ Hallow thou the name of thine Lord, the Most High, 1 Who createth, then disposeth; 2 And Who makes (things) according to a measure, then guides (them to their goal), 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 And then doth make it (but) swarthy stubble. 5 We shall make you recite (the Qur'an) so that you will not forget it, 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 And We will make it easy for thee (to follow) the simple (Path). 8 REMIND, THEN, [others of the truth, regardless of] whether this reminding [would seem to] be of use [or not]: 9 Admonished is he indeed who feareth, 10 But the wretched one will avoid it - 11 He who shall roast into the Great Fire, 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 He is successful who groweth, 14 remembering his Lord's name and praying. 15 Nay, but you prefer the present life; 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 the revelations of Abraham and Moses. 19
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
