The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 Penetrating deep into the armies, 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ Knows he not that when that which is in the tombs is over-thrown, 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 Surely on that Day will their Lord be fully informed about them. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
