Q (Qaaf)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
Qaaf. By the Glorious Koran! 1 Nay, but they marvel that a warner has come to them from among them; and the unbelievers say, 'This is a marvellous thing! 2 that after we die and become dust, we shall be brought back to life again. This seems far from reality". 3 (Thus do they imagine, although) We know well what the earth takes away from them. With Us is a Record that preserves everything. 4 But they deny the Truth when it comes to them: so they are in a confused state. 5 Have they not then observed the sky above them, how We have constructed it and beautified it, and how there are no rifts therein? 6 And the earth, We have made it plain and cast in it mountains and We have made to grow therein of all beautiful kinds, 7 thus offering an insight and a reminder unto every human being who willingly turns unto God. 8 And We send down from the sky blessed water whereby We give growth unto gardens and the grain of crops, 9 And lofty palm trees having fruit arranged in layers - 10 A sustenance for the servants, and We give life thereby to a dead land; thus is the rising. 11 (Others) before them rejected (prophets): the people of Nuh and the dwellers of Ar-Rass and Samood, 12 And 'Ad, and Fir'aun (Pharaoh), and the brethren of Lout (Lot), 13 And the dwellers of the Wood and people of Tubba'. Each of them denied the apostles. So My threat became a reality. 14 Were We then weary with the first Creation, that they should be in confused doubt about a new Creation? 15
