Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 And the producers of sparks [when] striking 2 while running during a raid at dawn, 3 And therein raising dust. 4 Then rush thereby upon an assembly: 5 Indeed mankind, to his Lord, is ungrateful. 6 And indeed he himself is a witness to it. 7 And indeed he is ardent for the love of good (wealth, becoming greedy). 8 ۞ Does he not know,- when that which is in the graves is scattered abroad 9 and all that is [hidden] in men's hearts is bared 10 That their Lord had been Well-acquainted with them, (even to) that Day? 11
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
