And verily it is a revelation of the Lord of the worlds. 192 which the truthful spirit has carried down 193 Upon thy heart, that thou mayst be (one) of the warners, 194 in a clear, Arabic tongue. 195 Its news was also mentioned in the ancient Books. 196 Is it not a token for them that the doctors of the Children of Israel know it? 197 Had We revealed it to a non-Arab 198 So that he should have recited it to them, they would not have believed therein. 199 In this wise have We made way for it into the hearts of the culprits. 200 They will not believe in it till they behold the painful doom, 201 So that it will come upon them suddenly, when they perceive not. 202 they say: "Can we be granted some respite?" 203 Do they then ask for Our Penalty to be hastened on? 204 Have you then considered if We let them enjoy themselves for years, 205 And then the promise that is given to them, does come upon them- 206 They would not be availed by the enjoyment with which they were provided. 207 Never have We destroyed a habitation till We had sent admonishers to them 208 As a reminder; and never have We been unjust. 209 And the satans have not brought it down. 210 It is not allowable for them, nor would they be able. 211 Lo! verily they are banished from the hearing. 212 (Muhammad), do not worship anything besides God lest you suffer the punishment. 213 Warn your close relatives 214 And be kind and humble to the believers who follow you. 215 Then if they disobey you, say: "I am innocent of what you do." 216 And rely upon (Allah) the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 217 Who observes you when you rise (to pray) 218 and sees your movements among those who prostrate themselves: 219 Indeed only He is the All Hearing, the All Knowing. 220 [And] shall I tell you upon whom it is that those evil spirits descend? 221 They come down on every guilty impostor. 222 (Into whose ears) they pour hearsay vanities, and most of them are liars. 223 As for poets, the erring follow them. 224 Do you not see that in every valley they roam 225 and preaching what they themselves never practice. 226 Except those who believe, and do good works and remember Allah in abundance and became victorious after they had been wronged. The wrongdoers will surely know which turn they will be returning to (Hell). 227
