The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By oath of those who establish proper ranks. 1 by those who drive away the devil (to protect Our revelation), 2 and the reciters of a Remembrance, 3 your God is One, 4 He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Lord of the Eastern regions. 5 Verily We! We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment: the stars. 6 And have placed therein a guard against any satan froward. 7 They cannot listen to the higher group (angels) for they are pelted from every side. 8 rejected, and theirs is an everlasting chastisement, 9 Except one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness]. 10 So ask them, are they stronger in constitution, or those whom We have created. We have created them of sticky clay. 11 Nay! you wonder while they mock, 12 And when they are reminded, they pay no attention. 13 and when they become aware of a [divine] message, they turn it to ridicule 14 And say, "This is not but obvious magic. 15 When we are dead and turned to dust and bones, how can we be raised again, 16 Will our forefathers also be brought to life again?" 17 Say: 'Yes, but worthless' 18 Then it will be a single (compelling) cry; and behold, they will begin to see! 19 They will then say: “Woe for us. This is the Day of Judgement.” 20 'This is the Day of Decision, even that you cried lies to. 21
