The food of the Zakkum tree 43 shall be the food of the guilty sinners. 44 Like dregs of oil; it shall boil in (their) bellies, 45 Like the churning of boiling water. 46 'Take him, and thrust him into the midst of Hell, 47 Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water. 48 "Taste it," (they will be told). "You were indeed the mighty and noble! 49 This is what you used to doubt.” 50 [As against this] verily, the God-conscious will find themselves in a state secure, 51 Amid gardens and watersprings, 52 dressed in silks and brocade, set face to face. 53 Thus shall it be. And We shall pair them with companions pure, most beautiful of eye. 54 They will call therein for every kind of fruit in peace and security; 55 There they will not know any death apart from the first death they had died, and will be kept safe from the torment of Hell 56 as an act of grace. That will be the supreme triumph. 57 And indeed, We have eased the Qur'an in your tongue that they might be reminded. 58 Wait (for God's decree) and they too will be waiting. 59
