With power and skill did We construct the Firmament: for it is We Who create the vastness of pace. 47 and We cradled the earth. And We are the Best of Cradlers. 48 And in everything have We created opposites, so that you might bear in mind [that God alone is One]. 49 Flee, therefore, to Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him; 50 And set not up another god with Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 51 Similarly, whenever a Noble Messenger came to those before them they always said, “He is a magician or a madman.” 52 Is this the legacy they have passed down from one to the other? In fact, they are a rebellious people. 53 so ignore them, you are not to blame, 54 And warn, for warning profiteth believers. 55 I created the jinn and mankind only so that they might worship Me: 56 I seek not any provision from them, nor I desire that they should feed Me. 57 Lo! Allah! He it is that giveth livelihood, the Lord of unbreakable might. 58 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on! 59 Therefore woe to those who disbelieve because of their day which they are threatened with. 60
