What aileth those who disbelieve, that they keep staring toward thee (O Muhammad), open-eyed, 36 in crowds, both on the right and on the left? 37 Does every man of them hope to enter the Paradise of delight? 38 Never so. We have created them from what they know. 39 No, I swear by the Lord of the Easts and the Wests that We have the ability 40 to replace them by others who would be better than they; and We shall certainly not be overpowered. 41 So leave them to engage in vain talk and to amuse themselves until they come face to face with the Day which they are promised, 42 the Day when they rush out of their graves as if racing towards a signpost, 43 with downcast eyes, with ignominy overwhelming them: that Day which they were promised again and again 44
