The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By heaven of the constellations, 1 By the promised Day (of Judgment); 2 And the bearer of witness and those against whom the witness is borne. 3 the people of the pit were destroyed 4 by a burning fire 5 while they themselves sat around it 6 And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses. 7 The only reason for which they tormented the believers was the latter's belief in God, the Majestic, and Praiseworthy. 8 Who, to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness over everything. 9 Surely those who tormented the believing men and the believing women and then did not repent, theirs shall be the chastisement of Hell, and theirs shall be the chastisement of burning. 10 Those who believe, and do righteous deeds, for them await gardens underneath which rivers flow; that is the great triumph. 11 Indeed the seizure of your Lord is very severe. 12 He it is Who creates for the first time and He it is Who will create again, 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 Effecter of what He intends. 16 Has the story reached you of the hosts, 17 of Pharaoh and of Thamood? 18 Nay! those who disbelieve are in (the act of) giving the lie to the truth. 19 Allah encompasses them all from behind. 20 Indeed, this is a Glorious Koran, 21 in a guarded tablet. 22
