Al-A'alaa
The All High (Al-A'alaa)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Rolling (Al-Takweer) before The Night (Al-Layl)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ GLORIFY THE NAME of your Lord, most high, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 And Who has measured (preordainments for each and everything even to be blessed or wretched); then guided (i.e. showed mankind the right as well as wrong paths, and guided the animals to pasture); 3 who brings forth the pastures, 4 then turns it into black stubble. 5 We shall now make you read (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), so you will not forget. 6 Except as Allah wills: For He knoweth what is manifest and what is hidden. 7 We shall make all your tasks easy. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 The reminder will be received by him who fears (Allah), 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 even he who shall roast in the Great Fire, 12 Neither dying therein nor living. 13 He indeed shall be successful who purifies himself, 14 And remembereth the name of his Lord, so prayeth, 15 No; but you prefer the present life, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Verily this is in Writs ancient 18 the scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
