Blessed be He who has set in heaven constellations, and has set among them a lamp, and an illuminating moon. 61 And it is He who made the night and day a succession for whom He desires to remember or He desires to be thankful. 62 The true servants of the Gracious One are those who walk upon the earth with humility and when they are addressed by the ignorant ones, their response is, "Peace"; 63 And they who pass the night prostrating themselves before their Lord and standing. 64 who pray, "Lord, protect us from the torment of hell; it is a great loss. 65 Surely it is an evil abode and (evil) place to stay. 66 who in their spending are neither extravagant nor stingy but maintain moderation, 67 And those who invoke not any other ilah (god) along with Allah, nor kill such life as Allah has forbidden, except for just cause, nor commit illegal sexual intercourse and whoever does this shall receive the punishment. 68 The doom will be doubled for him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will abide therein disdained for ever; 69 Except those who repent and come to believe and do the right, for whom God will turn evil into goodness, for God is forgiving and kind. 70 And he who repents and does righteousness does indeed turn to Allah with [accepted] repentance. 71 And those who will not witness vanity, but when they pass near senseless play, pass by with dignity. 72 who do not turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to the signs of their Lord when they are reminded of them; 73 They pray, "Lord, let our spouses and children be the delight of our eyes and ourselves examples for the pious ones." 74 They will be awarded the high place forasmuch as they were steadfast, and they will meet therein with welcome and the ward of peace, 75 therein to abide: [and] how goodly an abode and [how high] a station! 76 Say thou: my Lord careth not for you were it not for your prayer; whereas ye have even belied, so presently this denial shall come as the cleaving punishment. 77
