He Frowned ('Abasa)
42 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ HE FROWNED and turned away 1 Because there came to him the blind man (interrupting). 2 What made you think that he will not grow in virtue, 3 Or be admonished, and the admonition profit him? 4 As for he who is sufficed 5 Unto him thou attendest. 6 although thou art not accountable for his failure to attain to purity; 7 But as to him who came to you running. 8 and fearfully, 9 you pay him no heed. 10 No indeed; this is only a Reminder. 11 So whoever wills, let him pay attention to it. 12 upon pages high-honoured, 13 exalted, purified, 14 by the hands of scribes 15 Who are noble, virtuous. 16 May man be slain how ungrateful he is! 17 From what stuff hath He created him? 18 From a sperm-drop: He hath created him, and then mouldeth him in due proportions; 19 and made the path of guidance easy for him to follow. 20 then He caused him to die and brought him to the grave, 21 then, when He wills, He raises him. 22 But no. He has not fulfilled what was enjoined on him. 23 Let man consider his food: 24 We let the rain pour down in torrents 25 Then split the earth in clefts 26 And We made corn grow, 27 And grapes and clover plants (i.e. green fodder for the cattle), 28 and olives, and palms, 29 And enclosed gardens luxuriant. 30 And fruits and Abba (herbage, etc.), 31 Provision for you and your cattle. 32 So when the deafening Shout arrives, 33 On the day when a man fleeth from his brother 34 And his mother and his father 35 As well as his wife and children. 36 on that Day each will be occupied with his own business, making him oblivious of all save himself. 37 On that day faces will be bright as dawn, 38 Laughing, rejoicing. 39 And other faces, that Day, will be dust-stained; 40 Blackness will cover them: 41 These are they who are unbelievers, the wicked. 42
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
End of Surah: He Frowned ('Abasa). Sent down in Mecca after The Stars (Al-Najm) before Destiny (Al-Qadr)

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
