And man saith: When I am dead, shall I forsooth be brought forth alive? 66 Does man not remember that before We created him he was nothing? 67 By your Lord, We shall gather them and the devils together, then bring them crawling on their knees around Hell. 68 Then We will separate from every group those who were strongly rebellious against the Beneficent God. 69 We know best who deserve to be burnt in (the Fire). 70 And there is none of you except he will come to it. This is upon your Lord an inevitability decreed. 71 Then We shall save those who feared God, but the wrongdoers shall be left there on their knees. 72 AS IT IS, whenever Our messages are conveyed to them in all their clarity, those who are bent on denying the truth are wont to say unto those who have attained to faith: "Which of the two kinds of man is in a stronger position and superior as a community?" 73 And how many a generation We destroyed before them, who were fairer in furnishing and outward show! 74 Say: "Ar-Rahman extends the life of those who are astray until they come to realise what had been promised them was either (physical) affliction or (the terror) of Resurrection. Then will they know who is worse in position, and who is weak in supporters. 75 God further enlightens those who seek guidance. To those who do charitable deeds which produce continuing benefits, your Lord will give a better reward and a better place in Paradise. 76 Have you seen him who denies Our revelations, and says: "I will certainly be given wealth and children." 77 Has he obtained knowledge of the Unseen, or has he taken a covenant with the Most Compassionate Lord? 78 Nay, but We shall record that which he saith and prolong for him a span of torment. 79 All that he speaks of will belong to Us, and he will come into Our presence all alone. 80 And they have taken (for worship) gods other than Allah, to give them power and glory! 81 In fact, they can have no honor; their gods will renounce their worship of idols and will turn against them. 82
