It is He who gave you hearing, sight, and hearts, but only few of you give thanks. 78 It was He who scattered you on the earth, and before Him you shall be gathered. 79 It is He Who gives life and causes death, and He holds mastery over the alternation of night and day. Do you not understand this? 80 On the contrary they say things similar to what the ancients said. 81 They say, “Will we, when we die and turn into dust and bones, be raised again?” 82 Our fathers and we have been given such promises before. These are no more than ancient legends." 83 Say: "Unto whom belongs the earth and all that lives there on? [Tell me this] if you happen to know [the answer]!" 84 They will say, "To Allah!" say: "Yet will ye not receive admonition?" 85 Say: "Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and the Lord of the Throne (of Glory) Supreme?" 86 They will say: "God." Say: "Then why do you not obey and fear Him?" 87 Ask them: "Say, if you indeed know, to whom belongs the dominion over all things; (Who is it) that grants asylum, but against Whom no asylum is available?" 88 They will say, 'God's.' Say: 'How then are you bewitched? 89 Nay! We have brought to them the truth, and most surely they are liars. 90 Never did Allah take unto Himself any son, nor is there any god other than He. (Had there been any other gods) each god would have taken his creatures away with him, and each would have rushed to overpower the other. Glory be to Allah from all that they characterize Him with! 91 Knower of the Invisible and the Visible! and Exalted be He over all that they ascribe as partners (unto Him)! 92
