Al-Naze'aat 2 of 2
What, are you harder to create than the heaven which He has built? 27 He lifted up its vault, and levelled it, 28 And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness. 29 And the earth He extended after that; 30 and then brought from it its water and pastures. 31 and firmly fixed in it mountains; 32 A provision for you and for your cattle. 33 But when the great disaster cometh, 34 The day when man remembers all that he had done, 35 And Hellfire will be exposed for [all] those who see - 36 Then as for him who is inordinate, 37 And preferred the life of this world (by following his evil desires and lusts), 38 Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge. 39 But, whosoever feared the standing before his Lord and prevented the self from desires, 40 surely Paradise shall be the refuge. 41 THEY WILL ASK thee [O Prophet] about the Last Hour: "When will it come to pass?" 42 About what! You are one to remind of it. 43 [seeing that] with thy Sustainer alone rests the beginning and the end [of all knowledge] thereof? 44 Thou art only the warner of him who fears it. 45 On the day that they see it, it will be as though they had not tarried but the latter part of a day or the early part of it. 46

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
