Believers, do not accept illegal interest in order to increase your wealth many times over. Have fear of God so that you will have everlasting happiness. 130 And fear the Fire prepared for the unbelievers, 131 and obey God and the Messenger; haply so you will find mercy. 132 ۞ Hasten to obtain forgiveness from your Lord and to qualify yourselves for Paradise. Paradise, vast as the heavens and the earth, is prepared for the pious 133 Those who spend (freely), whether in prosperity, or in adversity; who restrain anger, and pardon (all) men;- for Allah loves those who do good;- 134 These are the ones who, when they commit any indecency and wrong against themselves, instantly remember Allah and implore forgiveness for their sins - for who will forgive sins save Allah? - and who do not wilfully persist in the wrong they did. 135 Those! their meed is forgiveness from their Lord and Gardens whereunder rivers flow; they shall be abiders therein. Excellent is the hire of the workers! 136 Similar situations [as yours] have passed on before you, so proceed throughout the earth and observe how was the end of those who denied. 137 This Quran is an exposition for the people and a guidance and admonition for those who fear God. 138 And faint not, nor grieve; ye shall overcome, if ye are believers. 139 If a wound hath touched you, be sure a similar wound hath touched the others. Such days (of varying fortunes) We give to men and men by turns: that Allah may know those that believe, and that He may take to Himself from your ranks Martyr-witnesses (to Truth). And Allah loveth not those that do wrong. 140 And that Allah may prove those who believe, and may blight the disbelievers. 141 Or do you think that you will enter Paradise while Allah has not yet made evident those of you who fight in His cause and made evident those who are steadfast? 142 And assuredly ye were wont to long for death ere ye had met it. Now ye are beholding it even while ye are looking on. 143
