Are ye harder to create or the heaven which He hath builded? 27 and raised its vault high and proportioned it; 28 Its night doth He endow with darkness, and its splendour doth He bring out (with light). 29 And after that He spread the earth, 30 and brought out of it its water and its pasture, 31 And the mountains hath He firmly fixed;- 32 (To be) a provision and benefit for you and your cattle. 33 But when the great disaster cometh, 34 the human being will recall whatever he has done. 35 And Hellfire will be exposed for [all] those who see - 36 Then as for him who waxed exorbitant, 37 and preferred the life of this world, 38 surely, Hell will be their refuge. 39 But unto him who shall have stood in fear of his Sustainer's Presence, and held back his inner self from base desires, 40 Paradise will be the dwelling. 41 They will question you about the Hour: 'When shall it be' 42 [But] how couldst thou tell anything about it, 43 This matter is in the hands of your Lord. 44 you are but a warner for those who fear it. 45 On the day when they see it, it will seem to them as though they had only lived in the world for a morning and an afternoon. 46
