And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them both and their people from the mighty distress. 115 And We helped them, so they overcame (their troubles); 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 and guided them to the straight path; 118 And We left for the twain among the posterity: 119 Peace be with Moses and Aaron. 120 Thus do We reward the doers of good 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 AND, BEHOLD, Elijah [too] was indeed one of Our message-bearers 123 He told his people, "Why do you not have fear of God? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 Allah is your Lord and the Lord of your ancestors of yore.” 126 In response they denied him, so they will surely be brought forth as captives. 127 except Allah's chosen servants. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be with the followers of Elias. 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And lo! Lot verily was of those sent (to warn). 133 We saved him and all his people, 134 Except an old woman (who was) amongst those who tarried. 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 Or at night. Then how is it you do not understand? 138
