Verily We bestowed Our favours on Moses and Aaron 114 and We delivered them and their people from the great distress. 115 And We supported them so it was they who overcame. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 And guided them to the Straight Path. 118 And We left for them among the later folk (the salutation): 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Even thus do We reward the doers of good. 121 truly they were among Our faithful servants. 122 Verily Elias is one of the apostles. 123 when he said to his people, 'Will you not be godfearing? 124 Call ye upon Bal and forsake the Best of creators. 125 “Allah – Who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?” 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Except the bondmen of Allah sincere. 128 and him We left thus to be remembered among later generations: 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 131 for he was truly one of Our believing servants! 132 And verily, Lout (Lot) was one of the Messengers. 133 Recall what time We delivered him and his household, all. 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 Verily, you pass by them in the morning. 137 And at night. Then will you not use reason? 138
