The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ (Inevitable) cometh (to pass) the Command of Allah: seek ye not then to hasten it: Glory to Him, and far is He above having the partners they ascribe unto Him! 1 He sends down the angels with the Spirit (Gabriel) by His command to those of His worshipers whom He chooses, (saying:) 'Warn, there is no god except Me, therefore fear Me' 2 He created the heavens and the earth for a true purpose. He is exalted above anything they associate with Him. 3 He created man out of a [mere] drop of sperm: yet he shows himself to be openly contentious! 4 And the grazing livestock He has created for you; in them is warmth and [numerous] benefits, and from them you eat. 5 how pleasant they look when you bring them home in the evenings and when you take them out to pasture in the mornings. 6 And they transport your loads to a town where you could not reach except utterly exhausted; indeed your Lord is Most Compassionate, Most Merciful. 7 He created horses, mules, and donkeys for you to ride and as a means of beauty. He has also created things that you do not know. 8 And unto Allah leads straight the Way, but there are ways that turn aside: if Allah had willed, He could have guided all of you. 9
