Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after Hoarding (Al-Takaathur) before The Disbelievers (Al-Kaaferoon)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

Did you see him who gives the lie to the Reward and Punishment of the Hereafter? 1 Who turns away the orphan, 2 And does not encourage the feeding of the poor. 3 So woe to those who pray 4 who are heedless of their prayers (delaying them from their prescribed times), 5 Those who make a display (of their deeds). 6 And withhold [simple] assistance. 7

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
