And (remember) the Day that the enemies of Allah will be gathered to the Fire, so they will be collected there (the first and the last). 19 So that when they reach it their ears and eyes and persons will testify to what they did. 20 And they will say to their bodies: "Why did you testify against us?" They will answer: "God, who gave all things power of articulation, made us speak. It is He who created you the first time, and to Him you will return. 21 Ye have not been taking cover against yourselves lest your ears and your eyes and your skins should bear witness against you, but ye imagined that Allah not much knew of that which ye were working. 22 but these thoughts which you entertained concerning your Lord, have brought you to destruction, and [now] you are among the utterly lost!" 23 And then, [even] if they endure [their lot] in patience, the fire will still be their abode; and if they pray to be allowed to make amends, they will not be allowed to do so: 24 ۞ And We assigned them comrades (in the world), who made their present and their past fairseeming unto them. And the Word concerning nations of the jinn and humankind who passed away before them hath effect for them. Lo! they were ever losers. 25
