Q (Qaaf)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Qaf. I swear by the glorious Quran (that Muhammad is the Apostle of Allah) 1 Rather they were shocked that a Herald of Warning came to them from among themselves, so the disbelievers said, “This is something really strange.” 2 When we have died and have become dust, [we will return to life]? That is a distant return." 3 We know what the earth consumes of them, for We have the Book that preserves everything. 4 Nay, but they have denied the truth when it came unto them, therefor they are now in troubled case. 5 Have they not looked at the heaven above them, how We have made it and adorned it, and there are no rifts in it? 6 And the earth! We have spread it out, and set thereon mountains standing firm, and have produced therein every kind of lovely growth (plants). 7 All these are to serve as eye openers and as a lesson to every being who is prone to turn (to the Truth). 8 And We send down from the sky blessed water whereby We give growth unto gardens and the grain of crops, 9 And high date-palms with lush fruit. 10 A sustenance for the servants, and We give life thereby to a dead land; thus is the rising. 11 The people of Noah, dwellers of the Ra's, Thamud, 12 The 'Ad, Pharaoh, the brethren of Lut, 13 And the companions of the thicket and the people of Tubba'. All denied the messengers, so My threat was justly fulfilled. 14 What, were We wearied by the first creation? No indeed; but they are in uncertainty as to the new creation. 15
