The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
When the sun shall be darkened, 1 and when the stars lose their light, 2 when the mountains shall be set moving, 3 And when the pregnant she-camels shall be neglected; 4 And when the wild beasts shall be gathered together; 5 And when the seas shall be filled, 6 And when the souls are paired. 7 and when the girl-child that was buried alive is made to ask 8 For what sin she was slain, 9 And when the Records of Account are laid bare. 10 And when the sky is torn away, 11 And when Hell-fire shall be kindled to fierce ablaze. 12 And when Paradise is brought near. 13 [on that Day] every human being will come to know what he has prepared [for himself]. 14 Rather, I swear by the returning 15 Who move straight and stop. 16 and the night that falls, 17 And the morning when it brightens, 18 Verily it is a Word brought by a messenger honoured, 19 one mighty and held in honour with the Lord of the Throne; 20 obeyed, moreover trusty. 21 Your companion is not one possessed: 22 in truth he saw him (Gabriel) on the clear horizon, 23 He (Muhammad) is not accused of lying about the unseen. 24 And the Qur'an is not the word of a devil, expelled [from the heavens]. 25 Whither then will you go? 26 It is nothing but Good Counsel for everyone in the world, 27 for whosoever of you would go straight, 28 But ye shall not will except as Allah wills,- the Cherisher of the Worlds. 29

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
