۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 And most surely they have enraged us; 55 And lo! we are a ready host. 56 So, We expelled them from gardens and springs, 57 And from treasures and nice houses. 58 Thus. And We caused to inherit it the Children of Israel. 59 So they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two hosts came in view of each other, Moses' companions said: 'We have been reached' 61 [Musa (Moses)] said: "Nay, verily! With me is my Lord, He will guide me." 62 Then We bade Moses strike the sea with his staff. And it parted, and each part was like a huge mountain. 63 And We brought near, there, the others. 64 And We saved Musa and those with him, all of them. 65 But We drowned the others. 66 Verily in this is a Sign: but most of them do not believe. 67 Indeed your Lord is mighty and merciful. 68
