The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
When the earth will be shaken with a mighty shaking, 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 And man saith: What aileth her? 3 That day it will narrate its annals, 4 Because thy Lord inspireth her. 5 On that Day people will go forth in varying states so that they be shown their deeds. 6 And so, he who shall have done an atom's weight of good, shall behold it; 7 and whosoever has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8
