So We saved the children of Israel from degrading suffering 30 from Pharaoh, who ranked high in sin, 31 We knowingly chose them above all other people 32 And granted them Signs in which there was a manifest trial 33 Verily these! they say: 34 “There is nothing except our dying just once, and we will not be raised.” 35 "Then bring back our fore-fathers, if you speak the truth!" 36 Are they better than the tribe of Tubba (name of a Yemenite tribal chief) and those who lived before them? We destroyed them. They were criminals. 37 We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, out of play. 38 We created them not save in truth; but most of them know it not. 39 Verily the Day of sorting out is the time appointed for all of them,- 40 On that Day no cousin shall help his cousin and they shall not be helped 41 save those upon whom God will have bestowed His grace and mercy: for, verily, He alone is almighty, a dispenser of grace. 42
