The Column (Al-Suff)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
All that is in the heavens and the earth magnifies God; He is the All-mighty; the All-wise. 1 O you who believe, wherefore do you say what you do not? 2 Most loathsome is it in the sight of God that you say what you do not do! 3 Lo! Allah loveth them who battle for His cause in ranks, as if they were a solid structure. 4 And when Moses, said to his nation: 'Why do you harm me, when you know that I am the Messenger of Allah sent to you' But when they swerved away Allah caused their hearts to swerve. Allah never guides impious people. 5 And [mention] when Jesus, the son of Mary, said, "O children of Israel, indeed I am the messenger of Allah to you confirming what came before me of the Torah and bringing good tidings of a messenger to come after me, whose name is Ahmad." But when he came to them with clear evidences, they said, "This is obvious magic." 6 Who is more unjust than one who creates falsehood against God when he has already been invited to Islam? God does not guide the unjust people. 7 they wish to put His light out with their mouths. But He will perfect His light, much as those who deny the truth may dislike it; 8 It is He who sent His Apostle with the guidance and the true way to raise it above all faiths, however the idolaters may dislike it. 9
