Destiny (Al-Qadr)
5 verses, revealed in Mecca after He Frowned ('Abasa) before The Sun (Al-Shams)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Verily! We have sent it (this Quran) down in the night of Al-Qadr (Decree) 1 And what do you know what the Night of Power is? 2 The Night of Destiny is better than a thousand months; 3 Therein descend the angels and the Ruh [Jibrael (Gabriel)] by Allah's Permission with all Decrees, 4 It is peace until the rising of dawn. 5
