The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 Who creates, then makes complete, 2 who determined and guided, 3 It is He who has caused the grass to grow, 4 then made it a blackening wrack. 5 We shall enable thee to recite, and then thou shalt not forget, 6 except what Allah should wish. He knows all that is manifest and all that is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Therefore remind, if the Reminder benefits, 9 He who fears [God] will heed the reminder, 10 And the most unfortunate one will avoid it, 11 The one who will enter the biggest fire. 12 Then he neither dies in it, nor lives. 13 Indeed whosoever purifies himself (by avoiding polytheism and accepting Islamic Monotheism) shall achieve success, 14 And glorify the name of their Guardian-Lord, and (lift their hearts) in prayer. 15 Nay! you prefer the life of this world, 16 While the hereafter is better and more lasting. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
