۞ Allah has commanded: "Do not take two gods; for He is but One God. So fear Me alone." 51 To Him belongs whatsoever is in the heavens and on the earth, and obedience is due to Him alone. Will you then fear anyone other than God? 52 And whatever blessings you have, are all from Allah – then whenever misfortune reaches you, towards Him only do you seek refuge. 53 Then, when He has removed the harm from you, behold! Some of you associate others in worship with their Lord (Allah). 54 that they may show ingratitude for what We gave them. So, take your pleasure, you shall soon know. 55 And they assign to what they do not know a portion of that which We have provided them. By Allah, you will surely be questioned about what you used to invent. 56 They attribute daughters to God, the glorious, but for themselves whatsoever they please. 57 And when one of them is informed of [the birth of] a female, his face becomes dark, and he suppresses grief. 58 avoiding all people because of the [alleged] evil of the glad tiding which he has received, [and debating within himself:] Shall he keep this [child] despite the contempt [which he feels for it] - or shall he bury it in the dust? Old, evil indeed is whatever they decide! 59 To those who believe not in the Hereafter, applies the similitude of evil: to Allah applies the highest similitude: for He is the Exalted in Power, full of Wisdom. 60
