And We indeed did a great favour to Moosa and Haroon. 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And helped them so that they became the victors. 116 We granted them a Clear Book, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We left (this blessing) for them among generations (to come) in later times: 119 "Peace and salutation to Moses and Aaron!" 120 Even so We recompense the good-doers; 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 Surely, Elias too was among the Messengers. 123 when he spoke [thus] to his people: "Will you not remain conscious of God? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your first forefathers?" 126 But they rejected him, and they will certainly be called up (for punishment),- 127 excepting only [those who were] God's true servants; 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 "Peace upon Elias." 130 As such We recompense the gooddoers. 131 For he was one of our believing Servants. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 when We delivered him and his people all together, 134 Except an old woman who was one of those who stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the rest. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And during the night; so do you not have sense? 138
