And recall what time thy Lord called unto Musa, saying: go thou unto the wrong-doing people. 10 the people of Pharaoh; will they not be godfearing?' 11 He said, "My Lord, indeed I fear that they will deny me 12 My heart is constrained, my tongue falters, so delegate Aaron; 13 And they have a crime against me, so I fear that they shall slay me. 14 He said: by no means. So go ye twain with Our signs; verily We shall be with you listening. 15 go both to Pharaoh and both of you say to him: 'We are (each) a Messenger from the Lord of all the Worlds. 16 so send forth with us the Children of Israel." 17 (Pharaoh) said (unto Moses): Did we not rear thee among us as a child? And thou didst dwell many years of thy life among us, 18 And you did (that) deed of yours which you did, and you are one of the ungrateful. 19 [Moses] said, "I did it, then, while I was of those astray. 20 “I therefore went away from you as I feared you – so my Lord commanded me and appointed me as one of the Noble Messengers.” 21 And this is the favor with which you oblige me: You have made the Israelites your slaves. 22 Pharaoh said: And what is the Lord of the Worlds? 23 Moses answered: "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and of all that is between them, if you were only to believe." 24 Said he to those about him, 'Do you not hear?' 25 (Moses continued): "Your Lord and the Lord of your fathers before you." 26 (Pharaoh) said: 'Surely, the Messenger who has been sent to you is mad!' 27 He said, 'The Lord of the East and West, and what between them is, if you have understanding,' 28 Pharaoh said, "If you take any deity other than myself, I will throw you into prison," 29 He said: Even though I show thee something plain? 30 Said Firaun, “Then bring it, if you are of the truthful.” 31 Moses threw his staff and suddenly it became a serpent. 32 And he drew out his hand, and it appeared [shining] white to the beholders. 33

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
