We have indeed set constellations in the heavens and have beautified them for the beholders, 16 and We have guarded it from every accursed devil: 17 Except the ones who listen on the sly, yet they are chased away by a shooting flame. 18 And the earth We have spread out (like a carpet); set thereon mountains firm and immovable; and produced therein all kinds of things in due balance. 19 and there appointed for you livelihood, and for those you provide not for. 20 For, no single thing exists that does not have its source with Us; and nought do We bestow from on high unless it be in accordance with a measure well-defined. 21 And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. 22 It is We who give life, and make to die, and it is We who are the inheritors. 23 To Us are known those of you who hasten forward, and those who lag behind. 24 and it is thy Lord shall muster them, and He is All-wise, All-knowing. 25
