Have you seen the one who turned away 33 And gives a little and (then) withholds. 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Or has he never yet been told of what was [said] in the revelations of Moses, 36 and Abraham, who paid his debt in full? 37 That no soul laden bears the load of another, 38 and that a man shall have to his account only as he has laboured, 39 And that his effort will be seen. 40 then, he shall be recompensed for it in full repayment 41 and that the final end is with your Lord, 42 and that it is He alone who causes [you] to laugh and to weep; 43 And that He it is Who giveth death and giveth life; 44 It is He who has created spouses, male and female, 45 From a sperm-drop when it is emitted 46 and that upon Him is the second creation 47 And that it is He who enriches and suffices 48 and that it is He who is the Lord of Sirius, 49 And that He did destroy the Ad of old 50 And Samood, so He spared not 51 And the people of Noah before. Indeed, it was they who were [even] more unjust and oppressing. 52 And Al-Mu'tafikah He destroyed 53 So they were covered with whatever covered them? 54 So O listener! Which favour of your Lord will you doubt? 55 This is a warning among the warnings of yore. 56 What is to come is imminent. 57 None beside Allah can disclose it. 58 Do you then find these tidings strange? 59 And you laugh at it and weep not, 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 Prostrate yourselves before Allah, and serve Him. ۩ 62
