Surely those who guard (against evil) shall have with their Lord gardens of bliss. 34 What! shall We then make (that is, treat) those who submit as the guilty? 35 What ails you then, how you judge? 36 Or do you have a Book wherein you read 37 That indeed for you is whatever you choose? 38 Or do you have oaths [binding] upon Us, extending until the Day of Resurrection, that indeed for you is whatever you judge? 39 Ask them, which of them will stand surety for that! 40 Or have they other gods? Then let them bring their other gods if they are truthful 41 Upon the day when the leg shall be bared, and they shall be summoned to bow themselves, but they cannot; 42 With eyes downcast, abasement stupefying them. And they had been summoned to prostrate themselves while they were yet unhurt. 43 Then leave Me Alone with such as belie this Quran. We shall punish them gradually from directions they perceive not. 44 Yet I will give them respite: Surely My plan is compact. 45 Do you ask for any compensation from them that they are burdened with want? 46 Or that the Unseen is in their hands, so that they can write it down? 47 So be patient with the judgement of your Lord and do not be like the Companion of the Whale (Jonah), when he called out choking inwardly. 48 Had it not been that favour from his Lord had reached him he surely had been cast into the wilderness while he was reprobate. 49 His Lord therefore chose him and made him among those deserving His proximity. 50 And the Unbelievers would almost trip thee up with their eyes when they hear the Message; and they say: "Surely he is possessed!" 51 Yet it is purely an admonition to mankind. 52
